OC Pepper Spray Course

Defensive Firearms Instruction is proud to offer Safariland/Defense Technology® OC Pepper Spray Certification. This course is 4 (four) hours of comprehensive training specifically designed for Law Enforcement, Security Officers, other industry professionals, and civilians. This course covers use of OC (Oleoresin Capsicum) and CS (Tear Gas) blends.

Course Topics Include

Formulations, blends, and spray patterns
Selection, preparation, deployment, and storage
Use of force and legal ramifications

Upon successful completion of the course students will be provided with a certification card good for three years.

Customized courses emphasizing company policies, and with/without live contamination are available upon request. Please contact us for more details.

What to bring

– Valid form of government issued Photo ID
– Notepad
– Pen
– Drinks and snacks

Live firearms and ammunition are not permitted during the course.
